Net Fund Taxation: These funds are subject to tax under the "Net" tax regime. This means tax is deducted on an ongoing basis at the prevailing rate, from within the relevant fund on any growth achieved.
-Gross or (G) refers to Gross Taxation of the fund;
Gross Fund Taxation: These funds are subject to tax under the "Gross" tax regime. This means Exit Tax, is deducted at the prevailing rate, only on a chargeable event i.e.: Withdrawals, Death Benefits, Assignments (other than to a spouse or for a borrowing), issue or revocation of a Trust for an existing policy and the 8th anniversary of the policy and every subsequent 8th anniversary after that on any growth achieved.
