Top Funds - Money Magnet Funds

Money Magnet Funds covers two separate tools:

 

1. Funds with the highest historic dividend yield

2. Funds attracting most money as a % of o0verall size

 

1. Highest dividend yield

This page lists those funds that have paid out the highest yields to unit holders at the last payment date (%).

 

By default this tools covers all funds in all sectors however you can also select to view only those funds within a single sector by making a selection from the drop down list provided and then clicking the green 'go' button (image below):

 

 

The results table is made up of the following fields:

 

Fund Name:

Name of fund - links to fund factsheet

 

Yield:

Dividend yield paid out to unit holders at last payment date

 

1 yr chg :

Performance of the fund over the past 12 months

 

3 yr chg :

Performance of the fund over the past 36 months

 

5 yr chg :

Performance of the fund over the past 60 months

 

Sector :

Parent sector of fund

 

 

2. Funds Attracting Most Investor Money:

 

Here you can view a list of funds attracting the most investors' money as a percentage of the overall fund size.

 

This tool focuses on current and historic fund size information and considers the percentage change in the fund size over a six month period.

 

For example if a fund increases from £100m to £110m the increase would be considered to be £10m.

 

This tool generates with a list of funds that have increased the most in size as a percentage of the total fund size.

 

The results table includes the following information:

 

Fund Name:

Name of the Fund linking to a fund factsheet

 

Size c 6m ago:

Size of the fund 6 months ago

 

Size now:

Size of the fund with current data (at last fund factsheet)

 

Nominal % Change:
Percentage change in fund size from six months ago until now

 

Underlying apprx. in/out:

Amount of money in / out of the fund after stripping out the effects of markt movements to the nearest £1m.
