Expert Weathervane looks at the Top 10 Holdings across the whole market of retail funds and analyses which are being favoured by the professionals, and which are being dumped.

The Expert Weathervane  Holdings page lists which equities are most regularly held within funds top 10 holdings - providing a valuable insight into the thinking of UK fund managers and changes in market trends.

The table provides a list of equities with the following details:

Name:

Name of Equity (Holding)

% containing this equity:

% of funds across the whole market / chosen sector containing the equity in question within their top 10 holdings.

3 months ago:

As above but three months ago.

Change in three months (Default order):

The difference between current percentage of funds holding an equity within their top 10 now and three months ago.

By default the list contains all equities held within any fund. This can be narrowed to equities held by funds within one sector by selecting a sector from the drop down list provided. and clicking the green go button (image below):
